The purpose of this document is to provide practical examples drawn from work in Scotland of how equalities can be mainstreamed into regeneration work. It is intended for use by Communities Scotland Area teams as a practical support to their work with Community Planning Partnerships in mainstreaming regeneration work. It is an illustrative document which signposts some of the key issues to consider when taking equalities forward in regeneration. This document gives practical examples in the following four areas; the strategic context; analysis of need; targeting; outputs and outcomes based on national priority areas for action.
