The document provides guidance on: prerequisites of treatment and care for all people with ADHD; identification, pre-diagnostic intervention in the community and referral to secondary services; diagnosis of ADHD; post-diagnostic advice; treatment for children and young people; transition to adult services; treatment of adults with ADHD; and how to use drugs for the treatment of ADHD.
