This article describes a free voluntary arts group in Aylesbury for people with mental health issues, Zero Gravity. Zero Gravity is not formal art therapy or a social group, but a place where people have the space and resources to create, make friends and become more independent. The group operates like a drop-in centre. People keep in regular communication but don’t need to attend regularly. By being involved in club organisation service users can also learn basic skills to help them return to work in the future.
