Discusses how each year, one in four adults will experience some form of mental health problem, and prevalence rate as high as this is likely to have enormous economic implications. In a small research study carried out at Centre for the Economics of Mental Health CEMH last year the authors tried to put some figures on the economic implications of mental illness.
