This publication offers an account of the philosophy, principles, outcomes and management of the Team Around the Child model. In the past, parents of a very young child with special needs would be referred to specialists and agencies in various locations and services may have appeared disjointed. These families can now receive well planned services leading to a co-ordinated approach to the care of their child.
