This guidance has been produced by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy in response to Part 4 of the Disability Discrimination Act(DDA) which refers specifically to special educational needs and disability. The DDA was extended to education from September 2002 and has implications for providers of all qualifying physiotherapy programmes, postgraduate programmes and CPD courses. This paper sets out for consultation the draft court rules in proceedings for domestic adoptions and placement for adoption under the Adoption and Children Act 2002. The draft rules will replace the Adoption Rules 1984 and the Magistrates’ Courts (Adoption) Rules 1984. The consultation is aimed at those members of the judiciary, magistrates and court staff who deal with adoption and related matters, at local authorities and voluntary adoption agencies, and other adoption stakeholders in England and Wales.
