Adoption and Fostering is a peer reviewed journal which includes contributions from social workers, social work managers, carers, medical practitioners, lawyers and researchers. The journal aims to provide an inter-disciplinary, all-round perspective on new developments in practice, policy, law and research, both in the UK and overseas. The primary focus of the journal is foster care and adoption, but it covers a wide range of other themes including child protection, service development for families and children, and policies and legislation which affect practice with children and families.
