Reports on a study which examined the social contexts in which sexually abusive child care providers came into contact with children and parents. Analysis of 325 case records identified several main child care arrangements in which child sexual abuse occurred.

The use of anatomical dolls in interviewing children has been criticised because it may provoke in reliable reactions in suggestible children. Reports on a study using ordinary dolls shows that children would use them just as frequently to demonstrate what had happened to them.
