A resource for social workers, social care practitioners, foster carers and advisers who need to find the current law relating to social care for children and young people in Wales. The website, developed by Cardiff University’s School of Law and Politics, provides information on, and links to full text to, acts, regulations and statutory and non-statutory guidance around child protection, children in need, family courts, looked after children, and foster carers. It also includes a range of additional resources about adoption, advice lines and support, organisations, children and young people, disability, family and friends (kinship) care, mental capacity, and parents.
