Reports on recent research from the NSPCC and Victim Support, which looked at the experiences of young witnesses giving evidence in court cases. Fifty witnesses aged between 7 and 17 took part in the study. Of these 35 described themselves as 'very scared' in the run-up to the trial and a number of children were self-harming.
