This review summarises findings from selected literature and statistics on older disabled people. It is one of a series of rapid reviews commissioned by Age UK into the diversity that exists in the older population and the inequalities faced by specific groups of older people. Areas covered include: the meaning and prevalence of disability in older age; disability and employment; income and benefits; access to transport; health and social care; and housing.
