Children's social care questionnaires 2016: what children and young people told us

Publication year:

Slide presentation summarising key findings from an online questionnaire on what children and young people thought was good about their children’s home or foster carers, and what could be better. A total of 2,859 children completed the questionnaires ran from 11 January to 3 April 2016. The questionnaire covered: information available about their children’s home or foster carer before their placement, whether children felt safe, whether they had ever gone missing, and whether they were able to build relationships with staff or foster carers. The responses will be used to help Ofsted to decide what inspections should focus on and also help providers and local authorities to identify areas for improvement. (Edited publisher abstract)
