Abstract: |
This At a glance briefing summarises evaluation research conducted in five health and social care (HSC) Trusts in Northern Ireland to evaluate the introduction of 'therapeutic approaches' in a number of children's homes and in the regional secure units. The aim was to improve staff skills and the outcomes of young people in relation to how they dealt with trauma. The briefing looks at implementing the five different models, the impact on staff, perceived limitations of the models; the views of young people and the analysis of monitoring data. |
