The increasing number of structural reviews in the NHS has resulted in many senior NHS staff being faced with regular changes to their roles whilst still required to continue their work as a leader. The authors, from Innovation in Health Management discuss their work on 'peer leadership' with senior managers in the NHS. They discuss the differences between conventional and peer leadership. These include the ability of peer leaders to influence other whatever their role or position. |
