Abstract: |
This publication draws together key findings of two pieces of work commissioned jointly by West Lothian Council and NHS Lothian: Services for Tobacco, Alcohol & Drug Users in West Lothian: A Needs Assessment 2007, by Dawn Griesbach, and Literature Review of Effective Interventions for Tobacco, Alcohol and Drug Misusers 2007, by Andy Rome. The aim of the research was to produce user-friendly evidence that will support the new processes of review and commissioning and the development of innovative services for West Lothian. The report pays particular attention to what works for people across age, gender, geographical and ethnicity groups in various settings. |
