The author discusses how HIV may have an impact, both, positive and negative, on older men's spirituality. He then goes on to discuss how spirituality and religiousness may affect the experience of HIV among older men in psychological and physical adjustment to this condition. The article concludes that, for all practitioners working with older men with HIV, addressing spirituality and spiritual needs in the course of service provision may be beneficial to those who value the spiritual and religious in their lives.
