Advanced search

Use the advanced search if you require precise results. The advanced search relies on the user typing in specific combinations of words and symbols, called a 'query', to generate results. If used correctly, it can generate exact results. The advanced search is most often used by information professionals and researchers, but there is no reason why students, practitioners and others could not use with a bit of knowledge and practice. If you want to find out more about the advanced search and how you can use it to help you, visit the help pages.
